Ofrisa stores all data exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share your personal information. No account is required to use the app.

This Privacy Policy describes how Ofrisa ("we," "our," or "the app") handles information when you use the Ofrisa iOS application. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Enter

When you set up a dog profile and log walk sessions, you may enter the following information. All of it is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

Data type Examples Where stored
Dog profile Walking name, breed, age, primary trigger, starting distance, equipment, walk environment, training goal, safety notes Device only (UserDefaults)
Walk records Start time, end time, outcome (Green / Yellow / Red), threshold score, walk notes Device only (UserDefaults)
Trigger events Trigger type, distance estimate, reaction level, handler action, recovery time, optional event note Device only (UserDefaults)
Walk photos (optional) A filename reference to one photo you choose from your photo library per walk event Photo stays in your device photo library; only the filename is stored in UserDefaults
Safety notes A locally generated rule-based text summary of trigger type, distance, handler action, and recovery data from your own logged walks Device only (UserDefaults)
Credit balance Number of credits available for optional local safety notes Device only (UserDefaults)

1.2 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

Photo Library Access

Ofrisa may request access to your photo library when you choose to attach an optional walk photo to a trigger event. The app uses the iOS system photo picker (PHPickerViewController), which lets you select a single photo without granting the app broad access to your library.

You can revoke photo library access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Ofrisa.

In-App Purchases and Credits

Ofrisa offers optional credit packs as consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. When you purchase a credit pack:

Credits are used to generate optional local safety notes — structured summaries produced entirely from your own logged data on your device. This is a one-time, per-note deduction. Credits are consumed when the note is saved and are not refundable through the app.

For refund requests related to App Store purchases, please contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How Your Information Is Used

All information you enter is used solely to provide the app's features to you on your device:

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app's features on your device.

Apple's Data Collection

Ofrisa does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. However, Apple collects certain technical and usage data through the App Store and iOS platform independently of this app. This may include crash logs, performance diagnostics, and aggregate usage statistics. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and Apple's App Store terms, not by this policy.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third party. Because all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, there is no data for us to share.

The only exception is Apple's processing of in-app purchase transactions, as described in Section 3.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the app. You can delete your data at any time using the controls in the app:

Deleting the app from your device also removes all locally stored data. Your credit balance, as recorded in Apple's transaction system, may be subject to Apple's own retention policies.

Because we do not receive your data on any server, there is no additional deletion request you need to submit to us.

Children's Privacy

Ofrisa is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can investigate.

Security

All data entered in Ofrisa is stored in your device's local storage using iOS standard mechanisms. The security of that data depends on your device's own security features, including device passcode and iOS data protection. We recommend keeping your device and iOS version up to date.

Because we do not store your data on any server, there is no server-side security risk related to your Ofrisa data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a notice within the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
