Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ofrisa iOS application ("App," "Ofrisa," or "the Service") made available by ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Ofrisa, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms incorporate Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) by reference. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA governs with respect to Apple's rights and obligations.
Description of the App
Ofrisa is a dog walk logging and threshold training tool designed to help owners of reactive dogs plan, capture, and review walk sessions. Core features include:
- Walk Brief — displays a daily walk plan based on your dog's current working distance and focus trigger
- Capture — lets you log trigger encounters, reaction levels, handler actions, recovery time, and optional walk photos during a session
- Trigger Ladder — tracks per-trigger working distance targets, adjusted automatically based on logged outcomes
- Walk Journal — stores a history of walk sessions grouped by outcome (Green, Yellow, or Red)
- Dog Setup — manages one or more dog profiles, including breed, age, equipment, walk environment, and training goals
- Protocols — provides a library of structured, rule-based walking protocols organized by scenario
- Local Safety Notes — generates optional, on-device rule-based text summaries derived from your own logged walk data, available for a credit cost
All features operate entirely on your device. No internet connection is required for core functionality.
Not Professional, Veterinary, or Medical Advice
Important: Ofrisa is a personal record-keeping and walk planning tool. It is not a substitute for professional guidance from a qualified veterinarian, certified applied animal behaviorist, veterinary behaviorist, or licensed trainer. Nothing in the App constitutes veterinary advice, medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a professional assessment of any animal's behavior or health.
Specifically:
- Walk outcomes (Green, Yellow, Red), threshold scores, and next-distance targets are calculated by fixed algorithmic rules based on data you enter. They reflect your inputs only and do not represent a professional evaluation.
- Local safety notes are generated by rule-based logic on your device from your own logged data. They are not reviewed by any professional and do not constitute advice from a trainer, behaviorist, or veterinarian.
- Protocol descriptions are general informational guidelines and are not tailored to your specific dog's history, health, or behavioral diagnosis.
- The App explicitly signals situations where professional help is recommended (e.g., repeated biting, redirected aggression, injury risk). These signals are informational prompts, not clinical guidance.
You assume full responsibility for the safety of yourself, your dog, and any other people or animals affected by your walking decisions. If your dog poses a risk of injury, stop exposure-based activities and contact a qualified professional immediately.

In-App Purchases and Credits
6.1 Credit Packs
Ofrisa offers optional consumable credit packs available as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store. Credits are used to generate local safety notes within the App. A starter credit balance is included at no charge when you first install the App.
6.2 Consumable Nature of Credits
Credits are consumable items. Once credits are spent to generate a safety note, they are deducted from your balance and cannot be restored through the App. Purchased credit packs are one-time consumable transactions and are not subscriptions.
6.3 Pricing and Billing
Prices for credit packs are displayed in the App at the time of purchase in your local currency as set by the App Store. All billing is handled by Apple. We do not process or store your payment information.
6.4 No Refunds Through the App
We do not offer refunds for credits spent or credit packs purchased. If you believe a purchase was made in error or you have a billing dispute, please contact Apple directly:
Apple's refund policies apply to all App Store transactions.
6.5 Credit Balance on Data Deletion
Using the "Delete Local Data" feature within the App removes your dog profiles and walk history from your device but preserves your credit balance. Deleting and reinstalling the App may result in loss of your credit balance if it cannot be restored from your App Store purchase history. We are not responsible for credit balances lost due to device loss, device replacement without backup, or App deletion.
